At Milipol 2017, in Paris, France, 21-24 November on Stand #G-025, Meprolight Ltd., will launch a new additional version of its MEPRO M5 Red Dot Sight, which has a Bullseye reticle that allows extended operating time while providing quick acquisition of a target using a large display window.

Meprolight is member of the SK Group and a leading manufacturer of electro-optical systems, thermal and night vision equipment, self-illuminated sights and Laser Range Finder systems for military, law enforcement and civil applications.

According to Benny Kokia, Meprolight's Vice President Marketing and Sales, “some of the most popular optic sights with a display window and Bullseye reticle consume high energy and, therefore, force the users to frequently change their batteries. We met the challenge and present our new Bullseye version with a unique, energy-efficient capability that significantly extends the operation time, while using a large transparent display window for rapid acquisition of targets. This is a unique sight, that poses a new challenge to our Tier 1 competitors, and we expect it to become very popular among our military, law enforcement and civilian customers. The new Bullseye sight is available with both Red and Green reticles, allowing each user to choose the optimised aiming pattern color according to his own preferences or environmental conditions."

The MEPRO M5 Red-Dot Sight (known in the US Market as Mepro RDS PRO) is an energy-efficient, compact sight that provides thousands of operating hours while utilising a single “AA” commercial battery. Featuring battle-proven LED technology and rugged MIL-STD design, the sight assures reliability under the harshest environmental conditions. With its large display window and clearly-defined Red Dot, the MEPRO M5 ensures rapid target acquisition with both eyes open. Offering numerous reticle brightness intensities, the MEPRO M5 suits every tactical scenario. To facilitate night operations and long-range target engagement, the MEPRO M5 is compatible with GEN II and GEN III NVGs as well as with magnifying scopes. Its human engineering allows positioning of NVGs and magnifiers close to the sight’s optics with no decrease in the field-of-view and without compromising convenient switch operation.
