Today at Bueckeburg's 30. Helicopterforum,  Autoflug showcases its Mission Troop Seat, which will equip the German Armed Forces' (Bundeswehr) NH90 helicopters.

Autoflug's safety seats for pilots and crew members of military helicopters feature low weight and comply with military crash safety requirements. Seats can be provided with ballistic protection, if required, and the company currently develops modular seat concepts enabling the extension of standard seats, e. g. with a foldable headrest, weapon supports or splinter  protection, ensuring maximum mission flexibility.

Providing seats for the A400M as well, the company invited all A400M customers to test its seats, in order to give them the best possible outcome.

By delivering safety seats to Airbus Helicopter to be included on modernised CH-53GS, the company shows its innovation and holds fast to its motto: Thinking Safety.

Furthermore, MONS learned at the show that Autoflug is currently in discussions with Lockheed Martin for its LM100J.

Autoflug develops, manufactures and services a broad range of modular safety seat systems and storage solutions for military aircraft applications. The company's troop seats for soldiers and paratroops offer protection at minimum weight and with maximum installation and removal flexibility. Extensive tests have shown that the troop seats meet the highest crash safety, flammability and sustainability standards.
