Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. has been selected to supply a cyber defence solution for the Bank of Israel’s national Central Credit Register (CCR).

This follows the Bank of Israel’s announcement to contract with Matrix IT on the issue of characterisation, design, establishment, operation and maintenance of the national credit data sharing system of the Bank. As part of this project, Matrix IT contracted Rafael to supply the cyber defence system for this national infrastructure. Rafael will supply risk assessment, design, establishment, operation and maintenance of the integrated cyber defence system.

Rafael’s expertise in the Cyber domain lie in its ability to integrate and lead complex, large-scale cyber projects. (ret.) Ariel Karo, Head of Rafael’s Intelligence and Cyber Directorate, said.

Rafael’s selection to protect a critical national level infrastructure, bolsters the company’s position as one of the major cyber defence suppliers of the Israeli government, and it is a direct continuation to Rafael's success in another major cyber defence programmes with the Israeli government – establishment and operation of the Israeli National CERT programme, which has been operational since December 2016.
