Elbit Systems of America has won a contract, the value of which remains undisclosed, from Raytheon for its Two Colour Laser System (TCLS), a production component of the Raytheon Multi-Spectral Targeting System (MCTS), the company announced on 3 January. Deliveries will be made during 2019.

MCTS provides electro-optical surveillance and next-generation targeting capabilities for a wide range of platforms, including UAS. “The Two Colour Laser System provides increased targeting accuracy and flexibility, minimising the potential for collateral damage. These attributes are key to US warfighters, who depend on these systems for a successful mission,” commented Elbit Systems of America President and CEO, Raanan Horowitz.
