At LAAD 2019 Embraer will be showcasing a broad range of defence and security solutions, covering land, sea, air and space.

The company will focus visitor attention on integrated solutions and applications for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), integrated information systems, communication, monitoring and surveillance of frontiers, radar technologies and space systems. The A-29 SUPER TUCANO light attack and training platform and the KC-390 multi-mission military transport aircraft will also be featured.

In recent years, Embraer applied its five decades of aircraft development and manufacturing to extending and diversifying the defence and security portfolio. Much of this has been done through its affiliated companies: Atech, a Brazilian business leader in critical mission and complex systems and a provider of integrated solutions for defence, security, air traffic and civil applications; Savis, a company that develops, integrates and deploys systems and services for border monitoring and protection of strategic structures; Visiona Space Technology, a joint venture between Embraer and Telebras, is responsible for the systems integration of the Brazilian government’s Geostationary Defense Satellite for Strategic Communications – Visiona is a consolidated satellite systems company and recently, as part of a project for the Attitude and Orbit Control System (AOCS), developed the first Brazilian software for satellite guidance.

Embraer will hold three major press briefings during LAAD 2019: a KC-390 event at 1400 on 2 April, an Atech briefing at 1100 on 3 April and a briefing covering the GRIPEN programme at 1400 on 3 April.
