At the Dubai Air Show, 17-21 November, Rohde & Schwarz will be displaying aerospace and defence solutions that provide safety and efficiency in all domains.

The VCS-4G, in combination with the field-proven Series 4200 radios, ensures safe and economical air traffic communications. Existing customers for the company’s innovative, fully IP-based solutions include more than 200 airports and ATC control centers in more than 80 countries.

SOVERON AR from Rohde & Schwarz brings the latest generation of airborne software defined radios (SDR) and network-capable waveforms to the skies. It offers wideband and secure voice and data communications for network-centric operations. Thanks to the radio's innovative technology, users can achieve information superiority during operations. Rohde & Schwarz is the only provider to meet the civil aviation certification requirements of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Almost 8,000 SDRs from the airborne transceiver family are in use worldwide on over 70 different airborne platforms.

The ARDRONIS Counter-UAS solution provides reliable drone control uplink signal detection and disruption capabilities, even under challenging signal scenarios. Modular and scalable, ARDRONIS can be deployed on a variety of platforms and readily integrated to suit specific threat profiles, with numerous systems already operational with government users.

Rohde & Schwarz ATC direction-finding systems significantly enhance air traffic safety, increasing situational awareness in airport towers and ATC control centres. The systems facilitate separating aircraft near airfields and airports and routing them through upper airspaces. The direction finders can operate in combination with terminal area radars and en route radars, or as standalone systems.

Also demonstrated in Dubai, the EVSG1000 is a portable signal level and modulation analyser specifically designed for commissioning and servicing ILS, GBAS, VOR and marker beacon ground stations and for analysing ATC communications signals.

With 30,000 ATC radios installed and more than 200 systems installed in more than 80 countries, customers around the world rely on the uncompromising quality of Rohde & Schwarz’ products and the user-centric design of its ATC solutions.
