Three new weapons have been presented by EMTAN at the Defence and Security exhibition held in Bangkok between 6th and 11th November. The company showcased its MZ-47 7.62mm assault rifle, MZ-4P 5.56mm piston-action rifle and MZ-300 Blackout rifle. The latter weapon has the option to change calibre between 5.56mm and 7.62mm 300 Blackout ammunition with a change of the weapon’s barrel. The firm added that it has an undisclosed customer for the MZ-4P. Beyond this, it added that it has provided its wares to a number of customers around the world, including the Thai government customers, and customers in Africa and southwest Asia. Moreover, although not confirmed by the company, it is believed that the firm’s MZ-4 rifle is in use with Israeli special forces.
