Saab has received an order from the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to deliver RBS 70 Mk II missiles to the Army of the Czech Republic (ACR). Deliveries will take place this year, the company announced on 14 March.

The ACR already operates both the RBS 70 and the newer RBS 70 NG systems, both of which can accommodate the Mk II missile.

Through the order from NSPA, we see NATO’s continued interest in our missile systems. The Mk II [….] is a capable missile, with an altitude coverage of 4 km and a range of 7 km,” commented the Head of Saab’s Dynamics business area, Görgen Johansson. To date, the company has delivered over 1,600 launchers and 18,000 missiles to 19 countries.
