As the Australian defence community prepares for the important Land Forces 2021 event in Queensland next week, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is expanding its presence in Australia by opening a local office.
The new office will present a variety of land solutions at Land Forces 2021, such as advanced end-to-end sensors for force protection. It will also present awareness solutions, including information-gathering, ISR, communications and a selection of loitering munitions capabilities. The company’s expertise in autonomous and unmanned systems will also feature, with the CARMEL programme, for instance, showcasing advanced autonomous and AI capabilities.
A world leader in systems of systems and in radars and sensors, from tactical to strategic, IAI invests in innovation and technological collaboration. Its unique capabilities are integrated in advanced solutions such as special mission aircraft, robotic systems, counter-drone defence, homeland security, UAS, satellites and more. In an age of information overload, the ability to refine high-quality intelligence from a range of sensors has become critical.
“IAI seeks to share its knowledge and know-how to enhance Australia's sovereign defence solutions and look forward to reaching market potential. During the Land Forces exhibition, IAI will display a wide range of advanced technological systems for the Australian market, and we hope to establish new opportunities for the near- and long-term future,” commented IAI President and CEO, Boaz Levy.
