Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is the world's largest modeling, simulation, and training conference. Companies and armed forces demonstrate the innovative lines of ready-to-use open simulation platforms, training suites, sensor products, automated terrain generation solutions and more. Some of the most innovative companies in the training & simulation Industry are present each year at I/ITSEC. 26-30 November, in Orlando, Florida, peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, special events, professional workshops, a commercial exhibit hall, a serious games competition, and STEM events for teachers and secondary students will be happening. I/ITSEC is organized by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), which promotes international and interdisciplinary cooperation within the fields of modeling and simulation, training, education, analysis, and related disciplines at this annual meeting MILITARY TECHNOLOGY #12/2018, available at I/ITSEC 2018 on booth #2613, includes the following topics (amongst many others): Improving Soldier Performance with VR and AR, GEOINT Training, SOF Simulation and Trainin, and how to getthe most out of Live Training Centres. Furthermore it features the Sixth Annual Simulation and Training Bosses Series (SATB) that conveys the thoughts and messages of the world’s defence simulation and training leaders.

Royal Australian Navy awards major bridge simulator contract to Kongsberg Digital

CAE USA recently won a number of contract awards which has increased the company’s footprint in the United States. These contracts consist of the US Army ABRAMS M1A2 tank engine trainers, US Air Force C-130H Aircrew Training System (ATS) and a contract to provide the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) with Contract Instruction Services (CIS) that will support the delivery of ground-based training to the US Navy.
