Meggitt plc has won a US Army indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, valued at $48 million (€43.5 million) for supply of its Aerial Weapons Scoring System (AWSS), the company announced on 4 October.

This full-service contract will be supplied by Meggitt’s specialist defence division in Irvine, CA, and includes product development, training, installation, field and cyber support, maintenance and repairs. AWSS provides essential gunnery training for defence customers worldwide, ensuring safe, efficient operation of targeting systems.
