The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNlAF) has renewed a contract with RUAG MRO Switzerland for maintenance and support of its PC-7 trainer fleet for a further two years, the company announced on 13 March.

The contract appoints RUAG as service provider for the PC-7 propellers until the end of 2022, with an option to extend to 2026. The RNlAF has relied on RUAG in this role for a decade. “As a technology partner of the Swiss Army, these synergies in the third market allow us to expand our competencies sustainably and in the long term," explains Max Grob, the company’s Business Development Manager Propeller Aircraft & UAV.

RUAG MRO Switzerland is a certified repair facility for the Pilatus PC-6, PC-7 and PC-9 aircraft and has been audited and accredited by the RNlAF in line with the NLD-MAR military guidelines. As an independent service provider, the company’s offer includes the maintenance of the entire aircraft and its subsystems, such as engines and components, as well as implementing cockpit upgrades and value retention measures.
