Spanish shipbuilder Navantia is a world reference in providing full support with a complete package of services to its clients around the world – from design and construction of a wide range of naval vessels, with full integration of all systems on board, to integrated life cycle support with maintenance, upgrades and new technology developments. It designs and manufactures command and control (C2) systems, gun fire control systems, integrated communications systems, integrated platform management systems (IPMS) and propulsion plants, including through-life support for all its products. Although its main line of activity is in the naval field, Navantia also designs and manufactures port surveillance and security systems and air defence and artillery forward observer systems for the ground-based forces.

Navantia has the capability to design, build and deliver the most technologically advanced ships with the latest advanced technologies, including industry 4.0 concepts. The Arabian Gulf represents a very important strategic market for Navantia, which is why it is participating in several tenders in the region, cooperating with local partners and offering well-proven and client-customised solutions for each programme.

At NAVDEX, the company is showing its major products, including surface ships such as the F-110 frigate, LPD and corvette for Saudi Arabia (AVANTE 2200), as well as systems such as the NAVANTIS integrated training system and an evolutionary IPMS concept. The company is also exhibiting on the SAMI stand at IDEX and with the Al Badie Group, showcasing the VERT land reconnaissance and surveillance vehicle.
