Tritech’s own designed, tested and produced Diver Mounted Display offers increased safety and target location for divers by improving their vision in low visibility water. This helps them to ensure both their safety and the success of subsea missions.

Tritech multi-beam imaging sonars integrate with the Diver Mounted Display when mounted somewhat uniquely to the diver’s mask. The sonar unit itself sits just above eye level and can safely and effectively identify targets up to 120m away. The detected image/ information is then instantly presented to the diver through a monocle eye piece, safely mounted on the front of the diver’s face mask. The diving supervisor has the option of controlling the sonar from the surface, allowing the diver to perform tasks without the need to operate any of the equipment.

This solution has been used extensively across the USA and Canada in search and recovery operations and an upgraded version will be available for purchase and hire later this year.
