The fleet of three Airbus Helicopters AS-365N2 DAUPHIN helicopters operated by the Prefectura Naval Argentina are to be upgraded to the N3 standard.

The €23.9 million contract has been awarded to Cofradis, the Argentinean respresentative of Airbus Helicopters. The upgrade work covers a new digital fuel control and management system, providing improved fuel burn and emissions and reducing the aircraft’s environmental footprint. A new 4-axis autopilot (the same as already installed in the EC225 operated by the PNA) and a digital navigation system enabling night operations will also be integrated.
