Uruguay’s National Police has received an additional three TIGER 4x4 armoured vehicles, delivered in a slightly different configuration from three previously contracted. The reason for the configuration change – and the unit price – have not been revealed, which is surprising some observers. Rosoboronexport had announced a price of $385,000 each for the original vehicles, which have suffered from a series of mechanical issues since their delivery.
