Oehm und Rehbein GmbH (O+R), based in Rostock, Germany, specialises in X-ray technologies and is taking the opportunity of the Security & Counter Terror Expo (SCTX) 2018 in London this week to highlight its capabilities to the security and law enforcement communities.

“We have over 25 years’ experience in these technologies and have products in service in over 90 countries,” Senior Sales Manager Enis Labiadh told MONS at the show. Over the last three to four years the company has progressively introduced its technologies – which are particularly suited to demanding applications for mobile or portable X-ray imaging capabilities – to the military and security communities alike. Working with NATO member state forces, Labiadh states that O+R have solutions for Tier 1 and 2 hospitals, for example, as well as the security-related applications on show at its exhibition booth.

The challenges of portable imaging solutions are legion, not the least of which is being able to transport and deploy systems rapidly and in safety. O+R’s solutions include suitcase applications that address these concerns, such as the LEONARDO DR MINI II pictured.
