B.E. Meyers exhibits MAWL, GLARE and IZLID series of lasers at the SCOPEX exhibit on booth #L060 at Milipol 2017 in Paris, France.

B.E. Meyers’ Modular Advanced Weapon Laser (MAWL), a high power infrared and visible green aiming and illumination laser for individual carbines, offers improved ergonomics, interface, and performance. The MAWL-DA has been designed from the ground up around the evolved needs of the modern night fighter and is currently in use and deployed on operations with both Tier 1 Special Forces, and internal security agencies in the US, Europe and other nations.

The LA-22/U (formerly known as the GLARE RECOIL), was selected by MARCORSYSCOM (US Marine Corps Systems Command) as the sole source Hail and Warning device for the US Marine Corps’ Ocular Interruption Systems (OIS) programme. It features B.E. Meyers’ patented SmartRange technology that utilises laser range finding and near-field detection to self-regulate power output. The result is controlled EyeSafe irradiance in addition to maximum permissible exposure on target. B.E. Meyers & Co. also offers a class 1M variant of the LA-22/U, the GLARE HELIOS.

Also displayed at the SCOPEX exhibit is the IZLID series of lasers for Pointing and Illumination, including the IZLID Ultra. The IZLID Ultra is currently the standard for JTAC use. Featuring a beam bright enough to communicate with high-altitude aircraft, it excels even under conditions containing high ambient light, according to the company.

Rugged enough to be used for weapon aiming on the M2 .50 Cal Machine Gun and mini guns, but light enough to be mounted on individual weapons or used by hand, the IZLID 200P and IZLID Ultra are versatile, dependable, and powerful IR lasers, "battle field proven and ready to deliver a tactical advantage today," says B.E. Meyers.

Standard equipment for SOF elements and all Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC), the IZLID line of IR lasers provides a critical tool to support long range weapon aiming, delivers great illumination for night time reconnaissance and surveillance, and is the standard tool for coordinating close air support.
