Cubic Global Defense has been awarded a contract to continue providing analytical support to the Joint Training and Exercise Division of US European Command (EUCOM). Cubic personnel will manage, develop and deliver training and exercise services for EUCOM’s Joint Exercise Program (JEP) and components’ Title X exercises. The company will focus on providing training for joint/combined operational effects, strengthening strategic partnerships, building partner capacity, capabilities and interoperability through exercises.
“Cubic’s broad range of experience in providing joint exercise and training capabilities and supporting joint initiatives worldwide, positions us well to effectively support the EUCOM evolution to an operational command. This support is consistent with our NextTraining strategy,” commented President of Cubic Global Defense, Dave Buss.
In the past year, Cubic personnel developed and executed exercise planning and assessment activities to establish the Northern/Southern Exercise Campaigns, established a EUCOM lessons learned programme and resolution process, and also supported the standardisation of all EUCOM J7 procedures. This new contract vehicle gives Cubic the opportunity to continue and expand its service offerings in support of training and exercises in the European Theatre.
As the incumbent, Cubic offers a cadre of training professionals with a combined 306 years of exercise experience. The team uses proven methodologies and tools to provide management and staffing solutions. Over the last 23 years, Cubic has developed and refined these tools and processes by directly supporting the design, execution and assessment of exercises. Additionally, Cubic has provided contract support to EUCOM for the past 15 years, with three years in direct support of this programme.
