At this week’s Israel HLS & Cyber Conference in Tel Aviv, Elbit Systems will unveil the ReDrone system from subsidiary Elisra; a unique solution for the protection of closed airspace and critical infrastructure against hostile drones.

Featuring open system architecture, ReDrone is designed to detect, identify, track and neutralise a variety of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). It can be integrated and operated with Elbit Systems SupervisIR, an infra-red wide-area persistent ISTAR solution, thus enabling full-scale SIGINT operations against drones. Providing 360° protection and situational awareness, the system caters for multiple simultaneous targets; advanced passive detection systems enhance environmental protection and operator, public and physical security.

Prosecuting a target, ReDrone disrupts the communications (radio, video and GPS positioning data) of the drone, causing it to move off track and abandon any attack. The Android-based digital control unit provides operators with an intuitive, user-friendly interface. Designed for simple, rapid installation, the system will operate in all weather conditions.
